About Responding Below:

Because we reserve 30% more glasses and add 10-15% more wine and spirits than the amount necessitated by your answers, there is no need to exaggerate your numbers. Providing reasonably accurate responses will ensure that you have a more-than-adequate, but not excessive, supply for your event

1. How long will the event last?

IMPORTANT: Please set an exact length rather than declaring a range – the next question will address average stay

2. Will the event be come and go? No, in seated dinner fashion, everyone will attend virtually the entire event. Slightly, the average stay of each attendee will be about 85% of the event length. Somewhat, the average stay of each attendee will be about 75% of the event length. Yes, the average stay of each attendee will be about two-thirds of the event length. Very, the average stay of each attendee will be about half of the event length. Extremely, the average stay of each attendee will only be about one-third of the event length.

3. Total number of actual “DRINKERS” (beer, wine, & liquor) that you expect to attend the event?

IMPORTANT: Typically, no more than 65% of in-town invitees attend. The percentage of out-of-town invitees attending will be far less. Of the invitees expected to attend, usually at least 10% will not drink. Factors that may reduce the number of drinkers further include age, religion, event type, and time of day

4. Of the number of drinkers declared above, what number of them do you expect to be women?

5. What percentage of women do you expect to drink liquor? 0% - No liquor will be served, women won’t drink liquor, or women will not attend. 15% - This group consists of mostly wine drinkers, but a few ladies will have cocktails. 25% - Liquor will have a significant role. 33% - A healthy portion of women will drink liquor. 40% - Liquor will have a very strong role. 50% - These ladies are quite the “Cosmopolitan” crowd, a remarkable amount will drink liquor. Even more

If you answered “Even more” above, please explain:

Remaining Women Allocated to Wine:

The remaining percentage of women will be allocated toward wine consumption. Please remember that, because we build in 10-15% of excess, these allocations do not have to be absolutely precise, just reasonably accurate. If you expect a significant number (more than 15%) of women to drink beer, please scroll down and make a note of this under Additional Comments.

Remaining Men Allocated to Wine:

Any remaining percentage of men not allocated by the preceding two answers will be counted toward wine consumption. Remember that, because we build in 10-15% of excess, these allocations do not have to be absolutely precise, just reasonably accurate

8. Group personality Light Drinking Moderate The Fun Crowd

9. How many red wine choices will be offered?

TIP: Offering two will allow for medium and full bodied offerings. If red wine will not be served, please answer “0” and, if guys are attending, expect beer and/or liquor consumption to be especially strong

Optional: To request specific types (such as Merlot) and/or producers of red wine, please list them below:

10. Excluding sparkling wine, how many white wine choices will be offered?

TIP: Offering two will allow for light and full bodied offerings. Please answer “0” if white wine will not be served

Optional: To request specific types (such as Chardonnay) and/or producers of white wine, please list them below:

11. If sparkling wine will be served, please select each way that it will be served:

TIP: General drinking is when sparkling wine is offered as an option throughout the event. With casual toasts, although flutes and sparkling wine are available, they are not actively distributed by servers. With highly orchestrated group toasts, before toasting, flutes are distributed and sparkling wine is served in a full service scenario

For general drinking For a casual toast For a highly orchestrated group toast

Toasting & Multiple Rounds - If multiple rounds of sparkling wine will be served during toasting, please specify how many people you expect to be toasting, and how many rounds you expect to be served:

12. Please select a wine budget: Value-priced, large 1.5L bottles for $15 or less. Nicer, large 1.5L bottles for $15+. Higher quality wines in standard sized 750ml bottles. Wine will not be served.

If you selected multiple types above, please explain below:

If you answered “Higher quality wines in standard sized 750ml bottles” above, please set a budget by entering an average cost per bottle below:

If Spirits will NOT be served, please skip down to “Additional Comments”.

1. What types of Spirits will be served? None, Spirits will not be served. Kentucky Bourbon (such as Maker’s Mark) Tennessee Whiskey (such as Jack Daniel’s) Canadian Whiskey (such as Crown Royal) Scotch Vodka Gin Rum Tequila

2. What quality level of Spirits will be served? None, Spirits will not be served. Value (such as Jim Beam, Smirnoff & Bacardi) Middle Shelf (such as Maker’s Mark, Absolut, & Dewar’s) Premium (such as Knob Creek, Grey Goose & Glenlivet)

Optional: To request specific brands of spirits, please list below:

3. Number of locations from which spirits will be served at your event:

NOTE: Serving from multiple locations will result in a need for more (about 20%) alcohol for the same number of drinkers.

Optional: Specialty Cocktails - Please list any specialty drinks which will be served and how many servings of each you want provided below:

TIP: Generally, very few men drink specialty cocktails. If the cocktails are not distributed, usually 60 - 70% of women expected to drink liquor and 40 - 50% of women expected to drink wine will try a specialty cocktail. Many will have just one, and it is unusual for a guest to have more than a couple. Specialty drinks, such as the Bellini, that do not utilize liquor will result in an even higher percentage (around 75%) of women partaking.
